One can connect more than one PC to a one connection using router. There are cabled routers and wireless routers. Cables routers are cheap and can access through Ethernet wires only. Wire-free routers are reasonably costly but can access by Ethernet wires as well as wireless devices. Routers are an extension of broadband modem.

· Take out Digital subscriber line Modem from Ethernet slot as well as from electrical source.
· Insert one side of Ethernet wire in "Internet" slot on DSL modem and insert other side in "Internet" slot on router.
· Insert one side of other Ethernet cable in Port 1 on router. Plug other side in "Ethernet" slot on PC. DSL connection from DSL modem should be going in router so it can "split" DSL connection between any other devices connected to router. Use remaining slots on router to connect other PCs.
· Insert DSL modem and router to electrical source. All PCs will be connected to DSL connection.
