What is Difference between Wired and Wireless Routing?
What is Difference between Wired and Wireless Routing?
1) Packet Error Probability:-
wired networks Packet Error Probability can be zero or close to zero but in wireless this value is should be greater than zero.
Interference from the neighboring “links”:-
The neighboring “links” scare the transfer of packets in a link. A link can be understood as a connection of the two nodes that are talking to each other.
Self-interference (within a path):-
Every link of a wireless network is a half duplex link which means that there will be a two way show at the conciliator node. Hence, there will be interference within the link itself.
Broadcast medium:-
The medium of transmission in wireless networks is broadcast. This affects the packet to be transmitted over the entire network. In wired networks conversely it is not transmitted over the whole network.
2) Actually there are two types of Router which used for Internet connection one is Wired
another is wireless, if you using wired router then you have to connect wire from your router to attach internet on your pc and if you using Wireless then you just have to find wireless network and your computer will be connect to Computer.
