Thread: HP wireless network issues

In my HP Pavilion dv4-1400 laptop I installed XP SP2. But now my laptop is unable to attach to any wireless network. Earlier it connects with Linksys wireless router but now it doesn’t show any wireless network. Please give me suggestions about this to solve my problem. Any help will be appreciated.

Check the configuration of network. It can be modifies when any device is included or removed from network. If configuration modifies then devices will either be unable to attach to router or unable to access all resources of network. Thus check network preferences of all devices which are attached to network and then attempt to attach laptop to network.

Check drivers of network adapters are installed and functioning appropriately on PC. All devices attached to PC need drivers to be installed for appropriate functioning. If correct drivers are not installed then device won’t work correctly. To check drivers, go to Device manager, click network adapters. If caution sign follow troubleshooting process and then check if you are unable to attach to network. Otherwise update the drivers.
