Thread: Wireless adapter can’t attach to router

I have Netgear wgr614v6 router attached to PC, and Roswill pci wireless adapter rnx g300e installed in backup PC. When XP and Norton Security installed on both then I can attach backup computer wirelessly to router. Now I upgraded main PC to Windows 7 and backup PC to Windows Home Premium. Now I want to set backup PC eternally and tried to attach to router. When I try to connect, card see PC, but can’t access internet. Please help me to solve this error.

First, uninstall Norton Security and then restart. It's firm to troubleshoot driver or hardware problem when third party firewall application installed. Now attempt to attach to router again. It doesn't work, check drivers from company. Occasionally Windows installs wrong driver so install proper driver to PC.

Windows 7 PC to access internet, it should be set to Private Network in Network and Sharing Center. This will solve your problem.
