Users at home use their Internet connections to download. Instead of running a computer at home for downloading, some of the recently released routers have a download fea¬ture. The router can download through HTTP or FIP servers. Some of these routers can download to a USB drive, while some can even download from torrent servers. Some devices are also network storage devices that double up as routers.

Look for the protocols that the router can download from. Also, it is important to see if the firmware of the router can be upgraded in future should additional features be made available.
