Thread: Low Wireless Signal assists

I have an Inspiron 1545 that will totally not connect to my residence network cause of a "low wireless signal". Though when I place laptop right next to the router it will not connect. I contacted Dell hold and them resolute it is not a PC difficulty but perhaps a router difficulty through a series of system checks and tests. On occasion, the 1545 Will connect but it is very uncommon.

The router is a Net Gear WNR834b v2. The weird obsession is that I as well have an Inspiron that I have had for some years and have had no troubles connecting to the same router.

Any assist or suggestions could be really appreciated.

Your wireless adapter is leaving out attempt getting an outside wireless adapter and seeing if that fixes the difficulty.
