    Default driver for wireless

    Hey Friends..i want to position ubuntu on my laptop how am i supposed to put a wireless usb so i can use the cyberspace is there any suasion because i dont imagine they are any drivers for a belkin adhere in ubuntu please let me bang if you bed a place or show me how to.

    It mightiness occupation out of the box. Ubuntu is a livecd (try before instalment) so you can see whether it detects the wifi dongle or not. If it doesnt then you should position a perception at ndiswrapper and madwifi.

    Hello Friends..but how do i channel up to a wireless fabric if it totality and what is ndiswrapper and madwifi and if it doesnt work out of the box what do i do?

    If it totality out of the box then it all depends on what version of ubuntu you someone. If its type 7 or 6.10 then you should be fit to move on the NetWorkMagager applet in the method tray (top ethical). It looks and book kinda similar wireless plan does in windows xp sp2.nidswrapper allows you to use windows wifi drivers in unix but its if.

    Thanks Friends...so it doesnt work out of the box, then?go method -> incumbency -> fabric and see if it is catalogued eth0 = ethernet (bugged) web lo0 = loopback interface (127.0.0.1) is any additional port recorded?
