Thread: Can associate to net through wireless but not Ethernet wire.

I have lately buy a Dell Studio 1737 laptop. Due to virus matter I haveto altogether format the Hard repel and did a clean set up of windowsVista. After set up all the woods back to the system, it is operatingfine. But there is one trouble with the Ethernet port. Wireless isoperating nice but when I connect the Ethernet wire to the laptopconnection is not finds. Can any one tell why I am notable to connectto the net through LAN.

Imay find, that you set up all the woods for wireless LAN and youforgot to set up the wood for LAN. If you are apply Ethernet wire fornet then LAN driver should be set up in your machine. Make sure thatyou have set up all the woods right.Note: you should first set upNotebook woods and then set up the chipset woods. If you fail to doso then none of the woods that you set up will operate.
